The Community has had a presence in Boston since the fall of 1998, when a group of Boston College students started praying together. The Community now serves the elderly in friendship at a low-income housing complex on Fidelis Way, at Vernon Hall Nursing Home in Cambridge, and at Presentation Manor Nursing Home in Brighton. The Community also serves a group of children through its School of Peace in Jamaica Plain.

The Archdiocese of Boston's newspaper, The Pilot, published an article on the Community.
