Dove of Peace DEATH PENALTY

doveThe Community of Sant'Egidio strongly believes that the death penalty is the denial of a universal right to life. The Community got involved in the campaign against the death penalty through a friendship with Texas death row inmate Dominique Green.

While the state of Massachusetts does not have the death penalty, Governor Mitt Romney has plans to reinstate it. Citizens of the state are also still subject to execution by the federal government.
