 The Community held bake sales in the spring of 2002 and 2003 on the Boston College campus. Proceeds from the sale were sent to the Community's Project DREAM to combat AIDS in Mozambique. Our elderly friends helped bake goods for the sale. They also grew some of the plants we sold from seed. Not only did the sales raise money for the project, but they also helped foster awareness of the AIDS pandemic devastating sub-Saharan Africa.
