Today is the fifth anniversary of the killing of a Christian Pakistani minister Shahbaz Bhatti, killed in Islamabad on March 2, 2011, because of his commitment to the defense of Christians and of all minorities.
The Community of Sant’Egidio, with the Association of Pakistani Christians in Italy, will remember him in prayer on March 4, 2016 at 20.30 at the Church of St. Bartholomew.
His Bible is kept there along with the memorial of martyrs and witnesses of faith of our time.
The prayer will be presided over by Msgr . Joseph Coutts, Archbishop of Karachi and President of the Episcopal Conference of Pakistan.
