Notwithstanding the freezing temperature, on the occasion of the great feast of Thanksgiving, Sant’Egidio gathered with many homeless friends, elderly and youth different backgrounds to celebrate the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Gathered for the first time in the welcoming parish of Epiphany, we shared this beautiful feast with the friends we meet every week at Grand Central and Penn Station and with many others who wanted to celebrate this beautiful feast in a large family and welcoming company.
A time of friendship and joy for a family that embraces everyone beyond the divisions and indifference of our city. At the table of fellowship there is room and a friend for all!
