Sunday, December 8th, at the end of a vast consultation involving all the Communities of Sant’Egidio in the world, Marco Impagliazzo was re-elected president of the Community founded by Andrea Riccardi in 1968 and now present in more than 70 countries, for the next five years .
In his inaugural message, Impagliazzo confirms the choice to work for peace and to live, in the time of globalization, “on the way” to the human and existential outskirts of the world, as indicated by Pope Francis. During this new mandate, I wish you all the best.
