As is our tradition in Sant’Egidio – we began this new year praying for peace all over the world.
This year, the School of Peace, in the parish of Our Savior in the Bronx, celebrated January 1, 2022 with a prayer for peace remembering all countries at war.
Many children, adults, and elderly came to pray with us in the spirit of encounter among generations so dear to the Community and emphasized by Pope Francis.
The school of peace is present in one of the most violent sectors of the Bronx and it is a great hope for a different future for many kids.
