On February 7, 47th anniversary of the Community of Sant’Egidio, we gathered at Hopkins Nursing Home, in New York City, with our elderly friends and children of the School of Peace. The community of Sant’Egidio New York hosted a Thanksgiving Day lunch with friends from the street and Families from the School of peace. Coming together in one sitting, a total of 23 languages spoken and many more thanks given in the wonderfully shared moment.
