The community of Sant’Egidio New York hosted a Thanksgiving Day lunch with friends from the street and Families from the School of peace. Coming together in one sitting, a total of 23 languages spoken and many more thanks given in the wonderfully shared moment.

This past Saturday, the New York Community held a picnic with a few of our friends from Tuesday Night Food Runs at Grand Central and families from the Community run School of Peace. With more than 35 attendees it was a great day had by all.
In the cold emergency, the Community of New York brought warm meals, blankets, scarves, and gloves to our homeless friends at Grand Central Station.
